Wheatley  .  Recognizing how important is is to converse,  that  great contributions begin with  people talking  together,  with this book Meg Wheatley  build a space for readers to reflect , to question, and to begin conversations.  Wheatley uses stories,  poems. images and narrative to  bring readers intouch with values of community , caring , and relationship.  Although hard nosed  managers  might find that the book is  at the edge of their comfort zone,  that  is often where the need for learning has its strongest pull.

 

Dialogue : The Art Of Thinking Together
by WILLIAM ISAACS  This book provides a great introduction to David Bohm's  concepts of dialogue.  Issaacs provides guidelines for  using dialogue talk honestly and meaningfully with each other to build the capacity for new behaviour. The book challenges the  use of process facilitation and yet the concepts  about listening, respecting, suspending, voicing and setting the container are invaluable for facilitators, leaders,  groups who need to think together.
